I live in Grants Pass. Technology is the day job. Fine art photography has been the other one since 2008.
I’ve made digital products for twenty years — textures, overlays, files meant to sit on a photograph. Plaster, canvas, rust, old paper, linen, gesso. JPEGs, large enough for a real print. Forty packs now. Older photographs live on Flickr.
I put one on a layer over the image. Soft Light if I want it to sit back. Overlay if I want the color. I usually paint it off the face.
